My Approach

I provide specialist psychological therapy for people affected by eating disorders and related difficulties in Newcastle and the North East.

I understand that reaching out for support can feel like a big step, whether you’re seeking help for yourself or for someone you care about. My aim is to offer timely support in a safe and compassionate space where we can begin to make sense of your experiences together and support you in working towards the change that feels important to you.

My approach is professional, collaborative, and non-judgmental — grounded in clinical evidence and expertise, and guided by the belief that meaningful change is always possible.

  • Testimonials

Jason is one of the nicest people I’ve met, and you can feel immediately comfortable around him. Having him as my therapist has not only improved my mental state but also helped me to learn how to take care of myself properly. With the help of Jason, I have learnt to grow from a frustrated person, to someone more emotionally mature. I would recommend Jason as a therapist to anyone, but particularly to those who have/had eating disorders.

  • Testimonials

I’ve had multiple different therapists throughout my adolescence; none of them have felt nearly as impactful as my sessions with Jason. I’ve been having consistent therapy with Jason for over 2 years now and I cannot emphasise enough how excellent he has been throughout my journey. Helping to set me actionable tasks and engaging in mini self-projects. I’ve felt so understood by him throughout my journey. Thank you, Jason, for constantly making me feel not just that I am heard, but that I am enough as I am.

I just wanted to say thank you - your sessions really were the only thing that kept me motivated in this journey. I couldn't have asked for a better therapist with whom I felt comfortable enough to be open and honest - and I really can see how important that is in making a recovery.
